On January 17th, the Chicago Alliance to Free Marissa Alexander and Free Marissa Now are kicking off 10 Days to Black Freedom!
On January 27th, Marissa Alexander is expected to finally be released from Duval County Jail. She will then begin two years of probation while under strict house detention. She then has to pay for an ankle surveillance monitor that she is forced to wear during this two year period.
The ankle monitor will cost $10,920, yet another punishment for self-defense. Let's fight this injustice and RAISE $10,000 to cover the cost!
