Mother's Day Week of Action: May 9-18!
Support Mothers in Prison 
& Mothers Everywhere!

May 11th is Mother's Day!  Marissa Alexander is a mother of three beautiful children.  Like many women, Marissa has been forced to mother her children while incarcerated and under house arrest.  A staggering 70% of people in women's prisons are mothers.

Join us for a week of action to 1) build the movement to support Marissa Alexander's freedom and 2) highlight how domestic violence and incarceration are critical mothering and reproductive justice issues.

• SPREAD THE WORD!
  On May 9th at 3pm, Free Marissa Now members in Jacksonville, FL will kick off the week of action by tabling in front of Angela Corey's office to demand Marissa's freedom!  Tabling is a great way to connect with community members and spread the word about Marissa's case, and the ongoing movement to end domestic violence, mass incarceration, and support black mothers and ALL mothers!
